Here at Wide Bay Central Dental, our team includes a general dentist, a Prosthodontist and a Periodontist.
We understand that it is great to be able to know the price of treatment before your appointment however every mouth is different, and every situation is different.
Fillings can differ in sizes, cleans can differ in how deep they need to be, teeth can need different treatments than originally thought and unfortunately until seen by the dentist we cannot give you an accurate quote.
If you are wanting a price before undergoing treatment you can book a consultation with one of our dentists and they can give you a treatment plan with the exact price of treatment. This treatment plan also includes item numbers so you can find out how much your health fund will cover.
Our consultation prices differ depending on what dentist you would like to see. Prices are as follows:
- For a consultation with our Prosthodontist, it is $120,
- For a consultation with our Periodontist it is $120; and
- For a consultation with our General Dentist, it is $80.
X-rays are not included in our consultation prices and are a further $48.00 per x-ray. Photos may also need to be taken at your consultation which is an extra fee of $30.
No, a referral is not required, however, a referral is preferred to see one of our specialists. A referral provides our specialists with the information that they need to be able to give you an accurate treatment plan and explain your treatment to you on the day of your consultation.
Both our general dentist and our prosthodontist are NIB preferred providers, although all of our dentists accept all major health funds.
Our practice is located at Shop 20/53 Torquay Road, Pialba. Our practice is the shop closest to the road in a small shopping complex called Melory Place, it is located beside the Pathology, just look out for the shop with the big tooth on the window!
As mentioned above we are located in a shopping complex. Parking is located in the Melory Place shopping complex off Neils Street in Pialba.
Yes, we are taking new patients. As mentioned above we do prefer to have a referral for patients to see our specialists, however, our general dentist is fantastic and happy to refer you to see one of our specialists if it is required.
Yes, we do. Our practice is wheelchair friendly and our dentists and staff are professionals in treating everybody!
Yes, our general dentist is amazing with children and thoroughly enjoys making their dental appointments as positive as possible. Our lovely general dentist can then refer children to see our specialists if required.
Yes, we do. We sell interdental brushes in all sizes, Neutrafluor which is a high fluoride toothpaste at the recommendation of a dentist, wax for braces and take-home whitening kits at the recommendation of a dentist.
